The endurance sports guru in our office, Ben is no stranger to endurance sports events both as an organiser and a participant. Ben was part of the HiVelocity Pte Ltd founding team who first brought the Aviva Ironman 70.3 Triathlon and several other races to Singapore.
Ben has also completed numerous marathons and multi-sports events locally and regionally.
Cycling, swimming and running is still an important part of Ben’s daily routine till today, and he also strives for a great work-life balance with his family of five.
With 40 large-scale mass sports events in Singapore and Malaysia under her belt, Fiona holds impressive knowledge and experience in the region’s sports market. Fiona’s creative mind puts her in the integral seat in many brainstorming and conceptualising sessions.
Fiona’s expertise is in the area of events management, experience ideation, strategic planning and brand activation. A sample of the events she has led are Nike WE RUN 10k Singapore, Nike NTC Live, Sundown Marathon, Wheelathon360, and InHerShoes – Arts & Music Event Against Cancer.
Balance and wellness are important aspects of Fiona’s life and she works hard to maintain them through practices in mindfulness, Pilates, Taiji, yoga and skating.
We want to talk balance and wellness; but first, we walk the talk. We get our share of work-life balance, love our exercise and me-time; we recharge, and come to work energized, fresh and ready.
We believe in humanity and letting humanity permeate our work. We are not robots; we are personal and personable, and we want our clients to feel that with us.
Do headstands while thinking. Drink whiskey. Stretch. Watch TED talks. We imagine our ideal events and activations, and we work hard to realise those imaginations.
People and their stories inspire us. That’s why our work focuses on striving to create better experiences for all.
We play as hard as we work, and we play pretty damn hard. We encourage play at work so our brains are ‘loose’ enough to imagine up our best events.
We constantly cast our nets out and scour the world for inspirations and ideas. We’re constantly reminded to keep our minds wide and open.
Those ideas need to turn into something. We engage in consumer and industry research, plan and work with our clients to customise event concepts that best suit their desires and objectives.
Ideas and concepts mean zero without good execution. We take into considerations the bigger picture, the consumer experience – it always boils down to consumer experience – as well as bringing our clients’ ideals as close to realisation as possible.
